A massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake has struck off Japan’s northeastern coast, triggering a 20 foot tsunami that swept boats, cars, buildings and tons of debris miles inland. Fires triggered by the quake burned out of control up and down the coast.
TV footage showed waves of muddy waters sweeping over farmland near the city of Sendai, carrying buildings, some on fire, inland as cars attempted to drive away. It was surreal to watch on CNN. Sendai got slammed hard..I’m afraid of what the damages to life will be when the water recedes. This was after several earthquakes in recent days near Japan.
In addition to all of that, aircraft are being diverted to inland fields, trains have been stopped, and many roadways are clogged. It’s a transportation nightmare.
Lets hope for the best and if you’re religious, now would be the time to pray for these people…Liberty sends it’s hope/regards to those affected by this disaster.
